Here are 9 simple steps on how to import cichlids to your country:

  • 1. You have placed order for cichlids.
    •  We send you a proforma invoice (a summary of your order with the total amount due).
    •  If you wish to change your mind, now is the time. If you wish to proceed...
    •  You make your payment* (see payment detail below).
  • 2. Fish inspected by German veterinary.
  • 3. Health Certificate is issued.
  • 4. Cichlids are kept / quarantined and not fed for 48 hours and packed for their flight.
  • 5. Airline issues air waybill. An air waybill is essentially a receipt provided by the airline.
  • 6. Cichlids depart Frankfurt by air. The airport code for Frankfurt is FRA. We fax you a copy of the air        waybill to confirm that your fish are onboard the flight and that the flight has departed on schedule.
  • 7. Your cichlids' flight arrives your city.
  • 8. You obtain the original air waybill from the air cargo office of the airline.
  • 9. Go to clearings or customs and claim your fish. In many countries, they will be inspected and cleared     by a Fish and Wildlife, Animal Health Arm, Fish and Game, Animal Quarantine, or other authority         representative. For US customers, use a shipping agent, he is well known in clearifing with your wildlife   office service.
